Our sessions are currently free, Forest School Sessions have been created to support the local community by encouraging them to be more active outdoors and to connect with nature.

What should my child bring to Forest School?
Please provide your child with a packed lunch. A full water bottle. During the colder and wetter months a hat, scarf, gloves, wellington boots or waterproof walking boots, water proof trousers and coat should be worn. During the hotter and sunnier months please ensure your child wears sunscreen, long sleeved tops and trousers or leggings and it is advisable for children to wear a sun hat or cap.
Do Forest School sessions run even when it it raining ?
Yes, Forest School philosophy is there is no such thing as bad weather , just bad clothing. During particularly wet weather a shelter will be provided. During the event of a MET Weather warning, where the weather has the potential to cause danger, Forest School sessions will be cancelled and rescheduled as soon as possible. Can I stay with my child?
During our holiday camps we encourage parents to leave their children at the beginning of the sessions as this helps them to develop their autonomy and confidence, however every child is different and we are happy to discuss any needs or concerns and accommodate them to the best of our ability. During our family sessions we ask you to stay with your child for the duration of the session. During Adults Only Sessions children will not be permitted. All members of staff have current DBS check.What if I need to cancel my child’s session?
If you need to cancel your child’s session , please contact to let us know so that we know how many children to plan for. Unfortunately If you have paid for a session we will not be able to give you a refund, but we will happily reschedule the session for a future date, however sessions are currently free. What should I do if I’m running late?
Life happens and if you find yourself running late we would really appreciate it if you contact us to let us know your expected time of arrival so we can plan accordingly.Where are the toilets?
Our Forest School site is at he back of St Johns Church where public toilets are located and when using our sister site, Queens Park Gardens, your child will be accompanied to the local library where there is a single public toilet.
